Spelling Term 1 Week 8

Activity 1:

” Sir, the communication system is down. The  commonwealth has everything disabled. ” Said the co-pilot. They were flying directly into Australia, from Europe. ” Well, that doesnt help anything, does it? They obviously want nothing to do with us.” 

” Yes, sir. Would you like me to alert the communist? It is compulsory, he warned us to tell him anything that came unexpectedly. After his father passed, and he was given his compensation, he seems sharper and more enthusiastic than ever.”

And thats when everything silenced.

Activity 2:

Coalition: a pact among groups.

Commision: a special group delegated to consider a matter.

Commonwealth: a political body of people.

Compulsory: required by rule.

Communist: a member of the communist party.

Activity 3:

  1. I peeled potatoes out and put them in the pan.
  2. We have two pianos at home.
  3. We watched in awe as the two volcanoes erupted.
  4. The dogs chased the three kangaroos across the paddock.
  5. I cut up all of the tomatoes and put them in the salad.
  6. The hero heroes who rescued the children were awarded medals.
  7. We took lots of photos at the wedding.
  8. All the frightened buffaloes stampeded across the plain.
